Rust Job: Cloud Developer - Golang-Rust

Science Card's (UK) game-changing sustainability mission and cutting-edge technology have strong traction and are transforming the banking industry.

We are looking for a senior cloud developer to join our new technology team in Lisbon, Portugal.
We are building the world's fastest and most energy-efficient cloud core-banking system in Science Card.

You will be working on the core-banking engine based on AWS Cloud & Databases, integrating with 3rd party data-APIs.
You will also work jointly with mobile-app developers (Flutter) to set up secure and fast data flows to the client app.

Our retail banking product is just the first destination of our journey. You will build a global bank for science, education and technology with us. Note: This is a contract role, or we can employ via a local EoR partner. The role will be converted into a full-time employment position once Science Card PT - branch is established.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills.
• GoLang and/or Rust programming experience (5+ years)
• Experience in working with REST-APIs, JWT tokens.
• Experience with Version Controlled systems, like Git.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, EC2, Fargate

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Experience with AWS Databases ( RDS, DynamoDB, Redis, ... )
• Experience with AWS-Amplify, Auth0.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, AWS MQ
• Full-stack dev experience ( internal front-end tools, low-code app frameworks)
• Experience in encrypted & secure communication and cloud security.
